Parking area
Is there a nearby parking area?
There are 2 parking options, depending on the needs of each guest :
1. Free street parking
Parking is free in the 3 port parking areas of the Municipality of Patras:
- South of the N.O.P. Open Swimming Pool
- "Georgios Kalentzis" Parking Lot
- South of the Lighthouse
The nearest is South of the Lighthouse with capacity of 123 spots, about 9’ walk from the flat.
From these locations, you can hop on the city's shuttle buses, running the route: Parking - Gounari - Agios Nikolaos Pier, and back. Buses run every 15 minutes from 07:00 to 21:30. During peak hours (07:00-09:00, 13:30-15:30, 17:00-18:00, 20:30-21:30), they operate every 8 minutes (source).
2. Ticket paid parking
Regarding the rest of the city centre’s parking zones (the annotated square from Karaiskaki str. down to Othonos Amalias ave. & Tsamadou str. until Zaimi str.).

How do the parking tickets work?
To use the parking tickets, just scratch the month, day, date, time (hour + minute) when you park your vehicle. Then, place the ticket at an obvious spot on your car’s window in case of a control.
Only 1 parking of the same vehicle is allowed during the morning hours (8am-2pm) and 1 during the evening hours (5pm-9pm) even if the allocated time has not been exceeded (1 or 2 hours depending on the zone). After the ticket’s time has expired, the vehicle needs to be moved to a free parking area.
